The greatly anticipated 2011 Silver Canadian Grizzly coin is finally here and collectors from all over are buying this magnificent, collectible asset incredibly swiftly! And who can criticize them? The favorably collectible coin offers a glimpse of one of life's most mysterious and charismatic animals, the grizzly bear. This coin is the second in a three-year, six-coin Canadian Wildlife Series by the Royal Canadian Mint.

The mint's Ottawa facility plans to release two yearly issues from the series through 2014, amid the demand in favor of this splendid series increasing as every year fades restlessly into the next. On the Canadian Grizzly coin's reverse, the designer captures a giant grizzly bear close to the water's bank in addition to it's mouth wide open in a what must be a tremendous roar. You can imagine the echo of that growl rolling for miles and causing local wildlife to dart for covering high in the snow capped Canadian Rockies Mountain Range, which is depicted in the background of this stunning work of art.

The topmost of the coin proudly displays the country's designation, "CANADA" and the words "FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR" is written at the base edge of the coin. To the right are the numbers .9999, representing the finest class of silver accessible. This fantastically detailed illustration was designed by the Royal Canadian Mint's Senior Engraver, William Woodruff whose initials are found on the left surface of the coin at the bottom of the Canadian Rockies.

On the coin's obverse, premeditated by applauded Canadian portrait artist Susanna Blunt, is Queen Elizabeth II. The top of the coin reads "ELIZABETH II" and the base, "5 DOLLARS 2011". Susanna Blunt's initials can be seen on Queen Elizabeth's shoulder. The Silver Canadian Grizzly is struck in one ounce of 99.99% pure silver, bears a face denomination of five dollars, and is very restricted in mintage making these coins a very demanded collectible by coin enthusiasts about the earth.

The Canadian grizzly bear is also identified as the "silvertip" bear because of it's thick fur which varies from light brown to just about black, on occasion appearing frosted like silver whilst the daylight touches it just right. Grizzly bears grow up to eight feet tall, roughly eight hundred pounds, and can move forward up to thirty miles per hour, which is why owning the coin is healthier than trying to capture a grizzly of your very own!

Located in the Canadian Cordillera, the Canadian Rockies reach an elevation of twelve thousand, nine hundred and seventy-two feet making this mountain span the perfect space in support of our jaw dropping grizzly to construct it's native land! The Royal Canadian Mint produces all of Canada's circulation coins as well as numerous coins on behalf of additional nations throughout the globe. There are two separate facilities that the mint operates, the Ottawa facility and the Winnipeg facility.

These 2011 Silver Canadian Grizzly coins are an absolute have to own for every genuine collector, especially seeing as these coins and the others in the Canadian Wildlife Series are limited in mintage making the want for them enormously excessive.

The 2011 Canadian Grizzly coin weighs 31.11g, has a diameter of 38mm, a thickness of 3.15mm, and is composed of .9999 fine silver.
