But this episode was about more than just long-awaited lip-locks - it had been also about some pretty important information coming to light. To begin with, Stefan (Paul Wesley) eventually admitted that he exclusively stopped Damon from eliminating Klaus (Joseph Morgan) in order to save him, and Damon didn't receive this news way too well. Unlike "Stelena" followers, Damon doesn't appreciate her brother's noble nature.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm loving Stefan's new bad-ass persona. I was worried this once he was unencumbered with Klaus' compulsion, he'd revert back to being a vampire Look, but no. He's an overall bad-ass.

I also, nonetheless, have to admit I feel really bad for Stefan. When Elena slapped your pet and told him to visit hell, the "Team Damon"-er within me wanted to love - but I couldn't. Without knowing the entire truth, Elena's anger has been super misguided.

Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) and Tyler (Michael Trevino) spent considerably of time together that week, but like most bromances to the show, it ended inside disaster. It turns out Klaus' latest hybrid was only hanging out with Jeremy so they could ween him away vervain, which would allow Klaus to compel him. And compel him Klaus did! He made Jeremy stand before an oncoming car - driven by one of his henchmen, of course - as well as Alaric (Matt Davis) had to jump in the way to save him.

This led Alaric straight into the waiting arms of Dr. Fell (Torrey DeVitto), who was greater than a little curious about just how Alaric healed so easily. Like every role the girl plays - even the actual bats**t crazy ones - Torrey will be adorable as Dr. Fell. She gives off an essential Hart of Dixie vibe, which I dig.

Jeremy's little scare was a wake-up demand Elena, who realized Klaus would stop at nothing to get just what he wants. She and Alaric enquired Damon to compel Jeremy to help leave Mystic Falls without look back - the classic Simba routine. I'll admit it had been heartbreaking watching Elena cry at the idea of her brother leaving in a niche community, but honestly, how often do people really try to avoid Mystic Falls? Jeremy shall be back soon. and in all probability hotter than ever.

To be a last bit of good news, Bonnie (Kat Graham) finally got some juicy material this week. She's been working with a recurring dream about coffins, and her investigation led her right to Stefan, who explained to her the dead witches are maintaining the coffins hidden through Klaus' sight.

Klaus would, however, get Rebekah (Claire Holt) back - but in the same way I was starting to fret that she'd wake up and go straight after Elena, Klaus stuck the dagger back to her! He's got ideas, that one. And WE don't like 'em.

SO, tell me what you pondered that kiss: Is it the start of a long, glorious romance for Damon and also Elena - or will she go right back to Stefan once they reunite? Hit up the comments section together with your thoughts on the almost all epic lip-lock yet.
