Winnie the Pooh was created by English author A.A. Milne and first appeared in a series of illustrated stories published in the 1920s. The adventures of Pooh bear and his buddies are hugely preferred and have been translated into numerous languages all over the world. The figures were based upon toys owned by the writer's son, who in turn appeared in the stories as the boy Christopher Robin.
