The historic town of Warrington stands on the banks of the River Mersey, conveniently situated amongst the key cities of Liverpool and Manchester. Warrington was founded by the Romans as an essential river crossing spot, by the Middle Ages it had established itself as a marketplace town with traditions of textile and tool production.
